Banana Compound Butter
This butter, blended with bananas, is a perfect complement to baked goods and pastries, including pancakes, French toast, and our Zucchini Banana bread.
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
pinch of salt
Place softened butter into a bowl and fold in mashed bananas until well incorporated.
Add nutmeg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt; fold into butter until well blended.
